Extended School Year
Chancellor Academy’s Extended School Year (ESY) Program is designed to support students in retaining their academic skills and promoting continuous growth in behavioral, social, and emotional areas as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
In collaboration with the student's Child Study Team, Chancellor Academy develops individualized schedules and programs to help students achieve credit for courses previously incomplete. Our ESY program leverages the Chancellor Academy Behavior Management Program to foster the achievement of each student’s IEP goals in social, emotional, and behavioral domains.
The program offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes English/Language Arts Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies/History, Physical Education, Computers/Technology, Art, Cooking, and related field trips. Additionally, our counselors provide individual counseling, crisis intervention as needed, and weekly group sessions focusing on social skills development.
