Our Modern Band Program offers students a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a professional recording studio environment right on campus. The music room features a state-of-the-art recording section equipped with studio monitors, a MIDI keyboard, and a Launchpad. We utilize industry-standard software such as Logic Pro X, Reaper, Ampify, and Final Cut Pro, providing students with hands-on experience in music production. Our vocal booth is acoustically treated with sound-absorbing panels, ensuring high-quality vocal recordings.

A key component of our program involves students recording themselves during rehearsals. This practice allows them to assess their own and their classmates' performances, fostering critical listening and constructive feedback skills. Students learn to set up their instruments for recording and gain practical experience in using Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs).

To showcase their work, students record their concert selections and publish the finished products on our Chancellor Academy SoundCloud page. This not only provides a platform for students to share their music with a wider audience but also helps them build a professional portfolio of their work.
