Week of Respect at Chancellor Academy – October 7 – October 11, 2024

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome back to a new school year! We are excited to continue our traditions while following the New Jersey Department of Education’s initiatives. This October, Chancellor Academy will participate in two important statewide events:

• Week of Respect: Monday, October 7 – Friday, October 11, 2024. Schools across New Jersey will focus on preventing harassment, intimidation, and bullying (HIB) through age-appropriate lessons, fostering a positive school climate.
  
• School Violence Awareness Week: Monday, October 21 – Friday, October 25, 2024. This week will raise awareness and provide instruction on maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

Students will participate in community meetings during Period 1 at 8:15 AM, with opportunities to earn rewards like extra Chance Bucks. We encourage all students to join in the activities promoting kindness and respect throughout the year.
